Mr. Sert visited SNC Head Office and conducted bilateral discussions in the Saudi Arabia

Mr. Devlet Sert, President of the Öz Sağlık-İş Trade Union visited the Head Office of the National Committee of Workers’ Committees of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on January 27th, 2026.

Our delegation consisted of Mr. Devlet SERT, President, Mr. Muhammet Esat Eyvaz, Vice-President/Executive Board Member, Mr. Adv. İlyas Şeker, Head of our Legal Issues Department and Mr. Uğur Müftüoğlu, Foreign Relations Specialist.

Our delegation headed by Mr. Sert is in the Saudi Arabia to attend the Occupational Health and Safety in the Workplace Seminar” and “3rd Global Labour Market Conference (GLMC)” in Riyadh, capital city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

During the visit programme, Mr. Sert expressed his satisfaction with participation in the above-mentioned international programmes which were the Occupational Health and Safety in the Workplace Seminar” and “3rd Global Labour Market Conference (GLMC)” under the theme of “Future in Progress” as well as the conducted trade union visiting programme by extending his sincere gratitude to the leadership of the KSA – with which our country, nation and organisation shared invaluable bonds of friendship, brotherhood, faith, culture and history.

In the framework of the visiting programme to SNC Head Office, Mr. Devlet Sert held a meeting with the Mr. Nasser Al-Jarjad, President of the SNC and Mr. A. Khaled Ibrahim El-Khattaf, General Secretary of the SNC.

Mr. Nasser Al-Jaryad, President of the National Committee of Workers’ Committees of the KSA (SNC) which is a newcomer to the trade union movement, explained his objectives to deepen bilateral relations with the Öz Sağlık-İş Union by building up a standing committee of health and social services under the SNC umbrella by the end of this year.
