A New Bilateral Cooperation Agreement Signed Between Our Union and The Egyptian Health Scientists’ Union in Ankara on September 18th, 2026.

As part of the working visit to Türkiye conducted by the Egyptian Health Scientists’ Union, a bilateral cooperation agreement was signed with the aim of promoting bilateral cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experience between our union, whose full title is the Öz Sağlık-İş Health and Social Services Workers’ Union and the Egyptian Health Scientists’ Union.

Prior to the signing ceremony, a meeting was held at our headquarters with participation of our Union President, Mr. Devlet Sert, along with our Vice-Presidents Mr. İsmail Öztürk, Mr. Muhammet Esat Eyvaz, Mr. Emre Kocaman, and Mr. Fehmi Azboy representing the Öz Sağlık-İş Union. 

The Egyptian Health Scientists’ Union was represented by Mr. Ahmed Elsayed Abdelmaksoud Hassan, President; Ms. Mona Elsayed Elsayed Habib, General Secretary; Mr. Atef Mohamed Mohamed Ibrahim, Financial Secretary (Treasurer); and Ms. Caroline Samir Boushra Henin, Foreign Relations Coordinator.

Following the meeting between the two delegations, the Bilateral Cooperation and Knowledge-Sharing Agreement was signed by the Öz Sağlık-İş Union and the Egyptian Health Scientists’ Union. The agreement aims to strengthen the exchange of knowledge and experience between the parties, develop areas for joint work, and take the existing relations between the two unions to the next level.

Following the signing of the bilateral cooperation agreement, our Union President, Mr. Sert, emphasized that the two unions would share their knowledge and experience in the health and social services sector more effectively, increase the number of mutual visits and contacts, and create new opportunities for collaboration.

Mr. Ahmed Elsayed Abdelmaksoud Hassan, President of the Egyptian Health Scientists’ Union, described the agreement as an important step toward strengthening cooperation between the two unions. He also expressed his satisfaction with the increased exchange of knowledge, experience, and contacts between the two labour organizations.

Mr. Hassan also thanked our President, Mr. Sert, and our Union, Öz Sağlık-İş for the warm welcome and generous hospitality, extended to him and his delegation during their working visit to Türkiye. 

Mr. Uğur Müftüoğlu, International Relations Coordinator, and Ms. Radjaa Legoui, International Relations Expert of our union, accompanied our union delegation during the meeting  and the cooperation agremeent signing ceremony.
