“Union President of the Year Award” to President Mr. Sert

Mr. Devlet Sert is, the Öz Sağlık-İş Health and Social Services Workers’ Union President and the HAK-İŞ Trade Union Confederation Vice-President, deemed worthy of an award by a Turkish media conglomerate whose original title is “BY Medya Group” which makes significant contributions into Turkish publishing life through various daily and periodical publications.

Our Union President Mr. Sert was granted with the “Union President of the Year” award within the scope of the Global Awards by “BY Medya Group” under the theme of “Global Achievements, Common Future“.

AWARD CEREMONY HELD IN ISTANBUL ON 17 OCTOBER 2026

President Devlet Sert has been deemed worthy of the “Union President of the Year Award” by the Selection Committee due to his successful trade union activities at national and international levels, his significant contributions to the global labour movement, and his effective civil society leadership.

Mr. Sert will receive his “Union President of the Year Award” at a ceremony which will be held in Istanbul on October 17th, 2026.
